Valentines Day Bookish Gift Ideas (or any other day that requires gifts 🙂 )
Alright, so the big LOVE day is coming up and you need to buy a gift for someone who loves books or stuff to do with the books they love. First, addressing what’s in my photo: people love Funko Pops, as seen in my picture below- find various characters on Amazon, Hot Topic, etc. And mugs. This one is from Chapters- they usually have cute bookish sayings on mugs and other items.
Now I’ve been looking around and here are a few different bookish gift ideas I have for you:
Support artists! An excellent site for this is Society6. It showcases various artists from around the world with their own designs on mugs, throw pillows, blankets, t- shirts and more. I have come across a few unique artists that focus their designs on books and literature. Bookwormboutique, which you can view here is very interesting, perfect for your Professional Bookworm 🙂 I have ordered from her before, I bought a mug and a pillow, which you can see from my pictures below 🙂

Another creative artist is Evieseo, whom you can view here has more bright and colorful designs relating to quotes from certain books on the formats I mentioned before. I haven’t bought anything from her yet but I really love her designs!
One other one I recently found is Happylilbooknook, whom you can view here. Also, cute statements on mugs, art prints, t-shirts, etc for your bookish friend or significant other 🙂
Another artist website is Etsy, of course and there are tons of artists on here from all over the world as well. I’m just going to highlight a few since there are soooo many.
Check out WoodenMaden here. Based out of Ukraine they have wooden bookmarks of Star Wars and Harry Potter!
Does your Valentine have a favourite classic author? Check out RyanSheffield from Texas here. He makes sweet bookmarks based on classic authors like Harper Lee, Ernest Hemingway, Virginia Woolf, etc.
And then please go check out Magicbookmarks, here as they have the cutest bookmarks in individual character format from Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Outlander, Shadowhunters, etc. They have a ton of characters!! I want so many!
If you’re looking for special bookends check out BeSpoke3DPrinting based out of Sheffield, UK. They have very unique designs! You can find Harry Potter, Outlander, Alice in Wonderland, etc.
From TheWatermelonFactory here is a quirky shirt for anybody who reads!
After the passing of Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) not too long ago, the phrase ‘Always’ has blown up more, here is a ring with the world engraved in it that is super sweet from CynicalRedHead. I might just get it for myself!
Again, for Harry Potter fans check out MyDreamySupplies here. They have the Time Turner pendant, Golden Snitch necklace, Sorting Hat necklace, etc. Perfect for any HP fan!
Okay so those are a few I’ve seen on Etsy. Clearly there is more to choose from so feel free to go look on the site yourself, I hope I’ve given you some good starting places or a good idea for a gift from those listed!
Another site I think that is worth mentioning is Hot Topic, which you can view here. They have literally anything you can think of, fan based- t- shirts, mugs, duvets, posters, phone cases, etc. And lots of great deals!
One other site I definitely want to mention is FrostBeard Studio, check it out here! It’s a husband and wife team (Tom and Roxie) who make Soy based candles with scents evoked from names like- Bookworm, Bookstore, Old Books, Reading at a Cafe, Gatsby’s Mansion, Hatter’s Tea Party, Sassenach, Sherlock’s Study, The Shire, The Wall, etc. Intrigued right? Go check them out, I have yet to sniff one of their creations but I can’t wait until I do!
Okay, last thing I will suggest getting a book lover which is quite simply- a book! Of course, right?
Check out BookOutlet.com/ca – wherever you’re from. They always have magnificent book deals for anyone and everyone! A lot of the books are new and upcoming that may have had a slight scratch or dent that a book store wouldn’t take so they resell them at a lower price here. It’s amazing!! Seriously, I have ordered from them twice now and received books I picked that would have been dented abit and in all honesty they look like nothing has really happened to them. They usually have a black tick along the side pages to show that its markdown but that’s it really! It’s a wonderful place and I’m so glad that I stumbled upon it that I hope others enjoy it as well 🙂
So that’s basically some of my ideas for gifts to give to your significant other or friend who loves books and bookish items. I hope this helped! It was fun to hunt down gift ideas and I always want to support artists for doing their thing 🙂 I’m super stoked to try and get some in my possession soon! Anyways, please leave me a comment below if this helped you out! Or if you have stumbled upon any other artists worth mentioning!
Happy Reading!
